From Humble Beginnings...
In 1976, after a decade of working for another general contractor, Fred Marceau decided to go out on his own and started Marceau Construction. During the early days, the company vehicle was a truck that Fred shared with his friend who owned a local plumbing business, and it wasn't uncommon for him to show up to job sites in the family station wagon. Despite a humble beginning and limited resources, Fred's perseverance and hard work led to Marceau becoming a well-respected business, known for providing high-quality workmanship and exceptional construction management services for businesses across New England.
In 2008, trusted associate, and long-time employee, Roger Desjardins purchased Marceau Construction from Fred and has played a key role in the continued success of the company.

For nearly 50 years, Marceau Construction's dedicated team of general contractors, project managers, builders, and subcontractors has built or remodeled hundreds of McDonald's locations throughout New England, making them an important part of the global franchise's growth and rebranding efforts across the northeast. The company is registered or licensed in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont and has completed projects from large animal hospitals to banks, and Starbucks to office buildings in all six states. With a reputation for providing exceptional project management services and delivering high-quality construction on schedule, Marceau stands out against the competition.
